Baby sleep schedule calculator

Build a practical example day from your baby’s age, morning wake time and current nap rhythm.

What the generator shows

1

Nap start windows

Flexible time ranges based on the chosen wake-window rhythm.

2

Suggested nap lengths

Different naps can serve different purposes, so the duration guidance changes through the day.

3

Likely bedtime

A final wake-window range calculated from the example nap timings.

Example two-nap day

Morning wakeThe day starts here
07:00
Nap 1Wake window 2h45–3h15 · suggested nap 60–90m
09:45–10:15
Nap 2Wake window 3h–3h40 · suggested nap 60–90m
14:00–14:40
BedtimeFinal wake window 3h30–4h15
19:15–20:00

This is an example, not a fixed routine. The next part of a real day depends on when the previous nap actually ends. Lulla therefore shows ranges rather than pretending every baby follows an exact timetable.

Choose between plausible rhythms

Around nap transitions, the same age can support more than one day structure. For example, a 13-month-old may still have a two-nap day or may be beginning a one-nap transition. The generator lets you switch rhythms and see what each would do to naps and bedtime.

Important

Lulla provides general planning guidance, not medical advice. Babies vary considerably. Follow your baby’s cues and speak to a qualified healthcare professional if you are concerned about sleep, breathing, feeding, health or development.
